turning a corner correctly

This is my approach to being faster in the corners

There are 4 reference points to look out for when you are going through a corner and to be the fastest through that corner you should be shifting your focus to the next reference point before you even reach each one. This means using your peripheral vision when you reach your next reference point.

Approaching the braking point (1) the driver focuses on the turn-in point (2). Before reaching the turn-in point (2), the driver next focues on the corner apex (3). Just prior to the apex (3), the driver focuses on the exit point (4), and then prior to reaching the exit point (4), the driver looks down the next straight.
